Architectural Style

The homeowners envisioned a modern farmhouse that would complement—not compete with—the natural beauty of the property. Preserving the mature trees, embracing the existing landscape, and capturing panoramic views were fundamental to the design.

Windows played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life. Large expanses of carefully placed glazing were used to frame the surrounding scenery, flood the interior with natural light, and create uninterrupted connections to the outdoors. The result is a home where every space feels immersed in nature, with spectacular views serving as a defining feature of the living experience.

Key Challenges

One challenge was finding a way to enhance the building while being able to see the entire property out of every angle of the home, which made choosing the windows especially important. The homeowners were looking for quality windows that both enhanced curb appeal and improved energy efficiency.

"When it was time to build this house, we started by meeting with the owners at The Window Centre, walking through the design for the building. We're so exceptionally happy with the service that we received there. The best part of the home by far is the natural light inside."

Eric Dinelle

"So when we started the design process, we really wanted to design a home that fits in this beautiful countryside setting, maximizes natural light and captures the beautiful views."
