Project Scope
Design of a new 5000 square foot single family residence on a waterfront property near Gananoque Ontario.
Products Supplied
All glazing was supplied by The Window Center, and utilized Marvin’s ‘Ultimate’ product line. Windows were either casements or direct set, and the doors were hinged and sliding units.
Architectural Style
This house leans towards traditional styling, but was executed in a clean, modern way. The road side of the house incorporated mullioned windows, while on the water side of the house, the mullions were eliminated to enhance the expansive views.
Key Challenges
We incorporated very large glazing units in this project - several over 50 square feet. Installation was a challenge given the height at which some of these units were installed.
